RESIDUAL - is a photorealistic horror Unreal Engine 5 game that plunges you into a distorted world where reality and memories intertwine. You play as a nameless protagonist who wakes up in their home, which quickly becomes strange and unsettling. With each level, you move through illogical and eerie spaces: abandoned supermarkets, empty school hallways, forgotten swimming pools, and endless office buildings.

The game gradually builds an atmosphere of horror, forcing you to solve puzzles and avoid hidden threats while the world around you becomes increasingly surreal. Psychological tension rises with every step, bringing you closer to a climax where reality begins to crumble. The ending leaves many questions unanswered, with no clear resolution.

If you have this error when running the game (On the screenshot), then this is a problem with the new version of Unreal Engine 5.5.1, that is, the problem is not in the game itself, to fix this error you need :

Press WIN+R and write %localappdata%.

Then find the folder named "Residual" and completely delete this folder, after this procedure you will be able to run the game again.

To fix this error I will wait for a new update of Unreal Engine 5.
